About McKeon Stone

McKeon Stone, operating since 1950, quarries and processes Kilkenny Blue Limestone from their Threecastles quarry in Co. Kilkenny — one of Ireland's premier sources for this distinctive blue-grey stone. Their Stradbally stoneyard in Co. Laois combines experienced hand-cutters with modern 5-Axis CNC technology, enabling work from simple flags to complex carved pieces.

Notable projects include paving for the Apple Campus in Cork, cladding for LIDL Castleknock in Dublin, an Invincible Spirit stallion sculpture, Amsterdam street kerbing, and an award-winning Cotswold Chapel. With 44 staff and a turnover in the £3–5m range, they are one of Ireland's most capable stone processing operations.

A Stone Federation Great Britain member, McKeon Stone supplies architects, contractors, and specifiers throughout Ireland and internationally.
